Kamole Bowls

Kamole_Studio Ganszyniec

We were asked to design the daily artifacts, rooted in Polish traditional craftsmanship. We came up with the collection of dishes, made of one of the most ancient materials used in pottery: stoneware, and using its natural properties. Its low water absorption means that we could glaze only the insides of the dishes, and the changing wall thickness allows for slight, planned deformations in the kiln. This way we get unique shapes from the same mold.
